Just got an 01 Sahara and the check engine light has come on and has codes P0202 & P023 on it. Also the horn, cruise control and fog lights aren’t working and all of the fuses seem to be good and hot.

The causes of a P0202 engine light code could be any of the following?
Did you do anything leading up to these codes, or was it fine and then they just appeared?
- Bad injector. This is usually the cause of this code but doesn't rule out the possibility of one of the other causes
- Open in the wiring to the injector
- Short in the wiring to the injector
- Bad PCM
- First, using a DVOM check the resistance of the injector.If it isn't within specs, then replace the injector.
- Check for voltage at the fuel injector connector. It should have 10 volts or more.
- Visually check the connector for damage or broken wires.
- Visually check the injector for damage. If you have access to an injector tester, activate the injector and see if it operates.
- If the injector operates, then you likely have either an open in the wiring, or a blocked injector. If you do not have access to a tester, swap the injector with another one and see if the code changes. If the code changes, then change the injector.
- At the PCM, remove the driver wire from the PCM connector and Ground the wire. (Make sure you have the correct wire. If you're not sure, do not attempt) The injector should activate
- Replace the injector

- Failing or failed cylinder 2 fuel injector
- Faulty ECM
- Open or short in the wiring harness for the cylinder 2 injector circuit
- Poor or broken electrical connection
- Fuel injector replacement for cylinder 2
- Repair or replacement of a faulty wiring harness
- ECM replacement
- Fixing connection issues

Nothing outside of just driving it around. I just got it a few weeks ago and everything was fine. I was waiting on my sister in law and turned the Jeep off when I turned it back on it idled real hard and the engine light came on and after a few seconds it started flashing. I got home turned it off, gave it a few minutes and turned it on to see the check engine light was still on. I ran it to Advanced Autoparts and had them check my codes and it came back with those two......the check engine light went off on my way back home. Haha

I've had the same issue off and on. Check engine light on then goes off, low idle, cruise engaged then drops out or turns off completely, including cruise light. After restart of the engine maybe fine maybe not. I ran sea foam through the fuel system and it helped for a week or so. I'm thinking the #2 injector is bad. P0202 code. Thoughts?
Could be a bad injector, I would test it to rule it out.
However, I'd bet it's more than likely a bad connector / wiring issue than the injector itself.

2008 wrangler rubicon unlimited having the p0203 code went through checked voltage etc everything checked out good so I then replaced injector, ECM and injector wire harness was running for about 3 weeks with no check engine and now again it came up with same code I have ran out of patience with this thing can anybody help thank you in advance.
I had P0202 & P0302 pop up today. While driving (2000 TJ 2.5L), check engine light came on and caused a huge back fire, sputtering, and almost loss of power.
I read the codes, checked them in the manual, and it said cylinder 2 misfire or open injector circuit.
Neither were the issue, it was my ground cable on the firewall from the hood to the motor. It was loose. Pulled the negative & positive cable, tightened the grounds. Checked the others. Reconnected the battery cables. Bam. Code gone, Jeep runs like nothing ever happened.
