California Pacific Crest Overlanding Route - NorCal Section August 2020

We altered the track slightly by combining the route with the California Backcountry Discovery Trail marked by the USFS in the Plumas, Lassen and Modoc National Forests, detailed in these map books:

Our plan is to run this trail in 3 segments from the Oregon border to the Mexican border.

We ran the north segment August 17-24, 2020 - right through the middle of 1200 dry lightening strikes and the resulting fires.

We will run the middle section in the fall and the last section to the Algodones Dunes in the spring.
