Hitch cargo carriers have been around for a LONG time referred to with many different names by many different manufacturers, I don't think I would spend nearly $800 on any design, aluminium or steel.

I'm actually building a trail rack right now. Bought a "scratch and dent" from Amazon for like 20 bucks, cut about 8 inches out of it. It will fit where my spare used to reside. Just welded it back up today, still have some finishing and detail work to do.
I can def think of other things I could spend the saved $775 on (like a welder)
