I am trying to find the part number for the 3rd brake light wiring. The wire for the boots that connect to the contacts has corroded out and I need to get it replaced to pass inspection. Was wondering if anyone has a pat number so I can replace them. This is a picture of the part I am looking for.

First, I cannot BELIEVE Texas (of all states) is that intrusive on their safety inspections. How disappointing on a state I have always loved for its history and freedoms.
Exactly what is corroded? Inside those two rubber booted female connections? If so a small diameter wire brush like you can find on Amazon, tool stores, etc. would be able to clean the corrosion out.

No it is actually the wires it looks like there may have been a short which caused the wires to brake away. I need to figure out a way to get new female connectors or another solution to getting the contractors to work.
