I have a squeek and rattle in the passenger side front wheel on my 1998 Jeep wrangler tj. It sounds like a brake bad flopping on the the rotor making a rattle and squeek like something rubbing or clapping on a rotating surface, but when I took the rotor off the pads were secure. The rattle stops when i brake. My mechanic said it was a cataletic converter problem.
