Had the engine overhauled few weeks ago and engine light said need can positioning sensor replaced so I did that but the shop that overhauled said eventually it will need new PCM and gonna charge me upwards of 3k so I was looking for alternatives and came across you

The CEL came on and threw the P1604 code. If I remember right, this code is mostly a problem on 05-06 with autos. It also had idle issues the exact time the CEL came on along with it having hard cold shifts from 1st to 2nd. We contacted Mark at Wranglerfix and he took care of us with a new PCM and haven’t had a single issue with those problems since install which was over 3 years ago.
