Piss & Moan Table

Yeah, but eventually the FED lefties will go after violators with a vengeance, like they've done with some of the YouTubers. It's not worth the risk, as far as I'm concerned...

We'll see, a lot of trucks are getting weight loss treatment right now.

I'd consider it if I was going to keep it forever but I'd like to be able to sell/trade it at some point.

Was over in Ontario a couple months ago, nice place but it was nicer to come home.

Sending my guys in a couple weeks to start a project and they'll be there for a few months. Sure be nice if they'd work this trade stuff out sooner rather than later.

We have some pretty good wheeling and gorgeous areas north of Toronto. Nature wise, it's quite nice especially in Muskoka... We've got thousands and thousands of lakes.

Trade stuff, you can blame that on Carney. He introduced and changed stuff last second to ditch it. He's a great politician unfortunately, people fall for him. He is the perfect example of that coworker who acts busy but doesn't get anything done. A bad deal is better than no deal for us at this point and we've got nobody to blame but our own government for putting us in this position. IMO, Trumps end goal is to stop the US from being taken advantage of, and have Canada take national security seriously. It's hard to have free trade with a country that is compromised.

Didn't you guys pass something where ya'll aren't enforcing the deletes? From what I saw, it's still technically illegal but not being enforced, and they're trying to make it legal to delete?

We flew into Toronto and drove up to the Midland area. Now seeing where Muskoka is I should have checked that out when I was up there.

That whole selling us Chinese steel and other products ruffled some feathers.

Does Mn do emissions testing? If not, a deleted newer diesel is easy to sell to an individual. I don't know about dealers.

That said, I agree with SAB- all it takes is the other party to take over and shit from Trump will get reversed. I'm glad mine never had DEF, although the particulate filter and EGR have been deleted.

Yeah that whole area up there is quite nice.

I work a ton with aluminum. China is very hard to compete with on certain materials, their government will pump money into their businesses so they can sell product at extremely low prices. As soon as one company switches to buying from China, everyone flocks to them because they become so cheap. It's a smart way to control trade on a global scale unfortunately and without regulation or tariffs, local manufacturing aluminum suppliers may as well shut their doors.

When thinking about this logically... (yeah I know.. consider the audience) they make nothing on it. Why don't they make money on it, because the next guy that buys regular gets the high octane stuff for the price of regular..

The local gast station at the Hwy 75/93 juncton here in Challis, recently opened up a brand new Chevron Convenience store/gas station andas usual the 3 grades of (up to 10%) methanol laden gas are all comingout of the same nozzel, but.... This store has a dedicated non-ethanol premium wth it's own pump and hose! Which is a blessing for those people that buy non-ethanol for their small engine stuff in 5 gallon cans.

To answer your question about how much of the crappy stuff you're getting.... It's between 1/4 and 1/3 gallon on average depending on how long the fuel hose is...

Shouldn't that be ethanol vs methanol ? Methanol is fun for sprint car Hilborn mechanical F.I. But it eats fuel systems in a regular car . Our Murphy and Maverick stations have a dedicated Non ethanol hose but it's in the same dispenser. Great point on the money being the same profit wise . Thanks man !

That's what we've seen happen here.

Surprisingly they do not. There are a lot of deleted diesels driving around.

They delete them as soon as they roll off the dealer lot too.

This is a piss off of a point for me.

I've been living 50/50 in Canada and the US the past 2 years. A lot of time in Montana, some in LA, and most recently in Des Moines. My dad had a bad accident there, serious head trauma. I really don't think he would have made it if he was in Canada. Back in Canada now, everything is slower. There is absolutely no argument, your healthcare is superior. As much as I don't like regulations though, I do think something needs to be done to bring the cost down of US healthcare. In my case, all that was done with my dad was scans and keeping him on fentanyl, propofol, oxycodone. They didn't have to do surgery, just some staples, stitches and monitoring his health and yet it's cost over $500k USD. It's a hard line to walk. I think a good middle ground would be basic free healthcare, with the ability to pay to get better healthcare.

Our taxes could be much much lower if it weren't for the rampant spending. Our healthcare is nowhere near as good as yours, but cost wise it is a fraction of what the government spends. Heck, similar to the high speed rail in California, the cost for our has magically doubled and nothing has even happened yet.

The biggest struggle is the corruption in our government. The Canadian government is compromised. They're trying to train our troops with Chinese troops. Our media is hard left leaning, and anything right wing you need to pay for. Straight up propaganda. It's just spend spend spend and tax tax tax. Our prime minister is a complete retard. He's smart, and not for the right reasons. He has no interest in Canada. And they have this bullshit idea that we can somehow hurt you guys more in a trade war??? We have a fraction of the population, our economy is a fraction of the size. It is pure stupidity to believe we have a leg to stand on if we go against you guys trade wise. We haven't needed to spend jack shit on our military because we rely on you guys. Hell, the Canadian identity for the past 20 years has just been us not being America. Our politics revolve around you guys.

Our PM knows he can just blame our problems on Trump, and Canadians fall for it hook line and sinker. His business is in the US, his family lives in the US, and he's lived in Europe for the past 10 years before becoming PM. That tells you everything, that he doesn't give a shit what happens here. He makes all these announcements, but hasn't completed shit. He's a complete slime ball, hell bent on driving a wedge between our countries and pivoting us to China. The reason he tanked the trade talks was for an election in Quebec, which he now has more popularity from it. But hey, blame Trump.

Our economy is effing HORRIBLE. EVERYTHING costs a shit ton of money, and we're getting bent over by our government. People here are mad because Trump took away the punch bowl, we had been taking advantage of you guys for ages. And our government continues to piss money everywhere unchecked, and just increase taxes. My friends our literally being forced to move their business to the US, because it's straight up unsustainable up here. I sure as hell hope Alberta joins the US, because Canada is a lost country. It's so bad up here. People are completely braindead.

I would absolutely love to pack up and go to Montana permanently. Heading there for a few months in a couple weeks.

I'd rather move lol... Love riding them but no more after seeing my dad wipe out. Where in Montana are you? Heading to Kalispell, would move there in a heartbeat.

Sorry to hear about your dad for sure!!!!!!

My buddy Herb told us once he would have been dead if he had to depend on the Canadian Healthcare.

Yessir, I find it amusing when Canadians try argue "free" healthcare. Nothing is free. And when there's no consequence for clogging up emergency rooms with problems that are not an emergency, it causes a lot larger problems for those in critical condition.

Like usual, there's middle ground. Unfortunately, the word practical isn't very well known amongst government officials
