Please double check my build plan

Backstory - Purchased a 2004 Jeep lj with 41k miles about 2 weeks ago out in St George Utah. It was used very little in the last few years but ran and drove pretty well. It did need some attention. In the past two weeks, with a ton of help from you guys, I have sanded, wire wheeled and painted every sq. in. of the undercarriage that had minor surface rust as I replaced the upper and lower control arms, adj. track bar, drag link, tie rod, etc.

I spent last weekend changing diff fluids, t-case fluid, cooling system flush with hoses and t-stat replacement. Tranny flush scheduled for this weekend along with a valve cover job to solve an oil leak.

With that work being done, I feel it is pretty mechanically sound. I now need to replace some worn out shocks. Of course that leads into future/now lift plans, etc.

Current Plan I'd love input on:

Jeep is currently running 33x12.5x15s on a 3" spring lift (3" front/2" back) by PO. I'd like to keep it on 32-33" tires. My plan was to replace the existing 3" lift with better riding (I hope) OME 2" coils with the 10mm spacers and install the JKS body lift. Can I purchase Rancho 5000x shocks now (RS55239 and RS55241?) and run them on the current 3" set up until I can afford the spring and bl ? Anything else I should consider or am missing?

Skip the JKS body lift and get a Savvy 1.25" body lift. The aluminum body lift mounts are superior to the poly mounts provided by JKS and many others.

Yes, you you can purchase the Ranchos now, they should still work as long as you set bump stop accordingly before and after. Just remember, Ranchos run long.

Keep in mind that your springs aren't what's affecting your ride quality. What's affecting your ride quality are your shocks, your tire load rating, and your tire psi.

Springs (at least as far as TJs go) aren't going to have anything to do with it, which you may or may not already know.
