What made you go from the swingout to the current carrier?

the swing out failed really bad, fast, I went to the rugged ridge after that, that too failed.

Did you gain a noticeable improvement in the rear departure angle? Looks like it's tucked the spare much higher up out of the way.

Spare tires always seem to look much bigger than the tires on the ground from any angle. I thought it was a 37".

Just wrapped it up, Im sure I will as I also replaced the tank gaining another inch., taking her out this weekend, I'll let you know

I've never been a fan of those tire carriers from GenRight. However, I also frequently open my tailgate

It's RR and made in China.

ripped the tub. I thought it was beefy too, I was wrong
