From bolt center to end, the rod end is less than 2" long. And one can see where the BMB clamp makes better use of the available space than the gigantic one.

This is great and I think this is the solution I exactly needed. Do you know how much was cut off from each piece in that photo? It looks like an inch that I guess I can always start with 3/4 of an inch and go more if needed. I can always cut Moore off. I can’t put it back on. From the other post I already have Blaine‘s clamp and no he is not big foot. That was from somebody else. He was going to send me his clamp that Blaine modified for him. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it before, but cutting down the rod ends and I am joint will at least shorten it up an inch or an inch and a half which should get me to a spot where I can mount it on the drag link itself with Blaine’s mount and not the one that I had in the pictures
