Technically NO.....
The hexagon headlight YJs were only produced until '95, but left overs were sold into early '96 until the TJs were released.
The round headlight TJs were built in early '96 (members have posted their production decals) and started selling around April '96.

OP,

You already have a thorough inspection of the Jeep done by a mechanic; he has documented what the Jeep needs.
Figure the repairs into the price (as others have posted) and bring CASH for whatever you are willing to spend.
