Anyone know who might be in a purple TJ in Seaside Florida on 30A today….not sure the color name ….Chrome wheels. Really fine looking rig.

Almost looks like the PLUMB CRAZY PURPLE dodge used on the old Chargers.
That's the only "color purple" there is. Not that hag whoopie Goldberg color .... ..
Jeep calls the color "Deep Amethyst". Code is PN or TCN. Very close to plumb crazy. Almost looks black or blue until you get it in the light. I have taken some razing about it but , I like it and the wife loves it. We did a run yesterday and had a couple people say it as black during the overcast morning but when the sun hit it it in the afternoon they were like "Wow" that's an awesome color.
A neighbor kid had a purple TJ SE when I was in high school (I graduated halfway through TJ production). My memory has it more purple-y than deep amethyst but I tried too hard to be macho back then so a hint of purple might as well have been Barney.
I have only seen one other TJ in that color in the ten years I’ve had mine.
I have had a few guys give me a hard time about the color but at the end of the trail they are humbled by it’s performance.
