Raceline beadlocks: question about spacers

Glad to see you got it sorted. I’m surprised it cut so easily.
What you are cutting is the air sealing lip that is pure rubber with no bead, belts or reinforcement in it. It is the lip that lays against the inside of the rim to seal it and make it hold air. Since that side is also being clamped with the bead lock ring, it doesn't hurt to trim it back some. Do the same on the non locked side and you may wind up with a leak.
