There a couple of videos on youtube that are pretty good. One common theme is they are either in the dessert or during the summer. I got mine on in November and I had to warm everything up big time.

Ya. It's like in the 60's here today. I'm wondering if that's warm enough. I did find a video on doing the upper soft doors. Those are the hardest. So I think I might do those in my house first. And then go from there.

I installed mine on a 80 degree sunny day. I left all the pieces spread out on my driveway in the sun for about 2 hours. Everything went on without to much trouble.

It was about 50 when I did mine and it was a bear, but nothing broke and I got it on there so I'm happy. Good call on doing the doors inside. I put all my stuff in front of the fireplace then quickly tried and get all done with an overhead space heater going.

I don't have a damn garage I can pull into and heat up! I'm gonna do the doors today. I have an extra set of irons. Then I'll have to wait for the rain to be over and then I'll do the top I guess.

I just have one question about the front. Will the screws that hold the front on fit this new top? And what head are they? I've yet to pick up any star bits. As I've never needed them before. And forgot to order any yet.

If you don't already have one, you will need a windshield header to attach the top. It will replace the factory top latch and hardware.

I just called Rampage and because it's a "Replacement Soft Top" it uses the factory header. Only their frameless and one other top require the new header.

Cool, one less thing to buy.

Ya. Thanks for the heads up though. I would have hated to get the old one off. And realize I needed to wait for another part to arrive. It's about to rain for three days here. Was trying to get this on today. But the kid needs to take the jeep on his date. lol.

Betting the weatherman is wrong. And I'll have time and sun to get it on this weekend or tomorrow.:neng2kb:

I just tried doing one upper door and it was to tight to fit. This operation needs ALOT of heat. I'm gonna have to find a garage I can heat up. Or some way hotter weather. I have a heat gun. But I just don't think you can heat up that big of a surface. Not to mention I'd probably melt a window.
