Hello all, I have a 2006 manual transmission TJ 4.0c. I've searched all types of issues through these forums whenever I've had an issue/question with my previous wranglers.

I recently bought this jeep in November 2020. While on the highway trying to take an exit I went to downshift and as I go to rev match the engine light blinked and the RPMs would not go pass 1,500. This issue kept happening and even happened sometimes while upshifting. (Hit the gas pedal with my foot on the clutch and the engine light blinks and the RPMs drop and I get no acceleration). I had it inspected by Jeep Chrysler and detailed the issue I was having. They fully diagnosed the whole jeep and told me my battery was low volt causing this issue. I replaced the OEM battery with DieHard Platinum AGM Battery, Group Size 34, 740 CCA. Had no issue for 2 weeks until today when the problem came back. This all happens at random times.

No codes are coming up and I'm lost at what to do next. Can't find this same issue anywhere. Please any help would be great.

A flashing CEL is the sign of a critical fault and the vehicle should not be driven or damage will incur. It is most likely emissions related and you could damage CATS or other components. You need to look for pending codes with a code reader.

I have a code reader plugged in and I have no pending codes. The only time I see the flashing CEL is when I randomly experience this issue.
