Later on in life when my Dad had passed, I needed a dozer for maintaining the roads on the ranch. Bought an old D-4 with a pony motor. Did a lot of work with it, only had a straight blade.

Old D-4 finally got tired and I sold it. I would rent a Case 450 or newer D-3 when I needed to clean up the roads. Sure was nice running newer equipment!

This last Dec I just picked up this little 9,000 lb dozer to clean up the roads with. Just need them wide enough for a Jeep or side by side.

My Dad was a logger in Northern California operating the old cable blades skidding logs and building roads. I grew up setting Chockers.

My uncle and cousin were logger/skidders up out of Redding back in the 90’s

Always had cool equipment.

That sutter looks like the real deal!!

You know those "free wheel" pegs are the kiss of death right? Once you engage the pegs on a downhill, it is really hard to get both feet back on the pedals at 20mph!! LOL

Yup, been riding fixed gear bicycles for over 20 years. I intend to make full use of the bales of straw at the finish line while hoping I bleed off enough momentum without ending up in the Fox River.

Picked up a husky toolbox at depot on lunch break. Need more drawers now. Luckily everything is easily accessible now rather than digging through tool boxes. Moving sucked. Upside is that now I have space to work and keep my tools organized.
