Need advice from any professional auto painters or knowledgeable non-professionals.

My hood, a replacement fender and some rear quarter bodywork all have texture. From clear coat cracking, from the previous owner of the fender that sprayed coating on top and from the bodywork at the quarter.

I want to sand down all the texture, primer with a rattle and the do the entire Jeep in some kind of camouflage, also rattle can.

Attached are potential designs however I am undecided as of yet.

What would you all suggest for the primer?

Thank in advance.

Primer choice also really depends on how much sanding and prep you're willing to put into the project. Case in point etching primer if you're down to metal or hi fill if you're block sanding out imperfections.

I was also thinking wrap when I saw this. Following because I've thought about it and am not far from you. I have half doors that I'm thinking of getting painted to match. Also thought of just getting them wrapped.

That would be a very big project. Would take weeks if not months.

What do you think a wrap would cost?

I was quoted $3,500 to wrap my entire Jeep (East coast). Paint quotes were $6,000+. A DIY wrap job is a couple hundred dollars. The DIY wrap doesn't require any prep, except removing all wax before doing it. I did it on my old car hood and trunk. Cost me under $50.
