Re-Gear Question - 4 cylinder with 31" tires

Hey guys!

My TJ is a 2004 2.4L 4 cylinder with 5 speed manual NV1500. I have "played" a lot at grimmjeeper. I am not quite sure yet which gears are the best for me.

What would you prefer if you were me? 4.56 or 4.88 gears for 31" tires? And why?

I can't give you an honest answer because the only 4 Cylinder Jeep I have ever owned was a CJ2A, but I would definitely go with the 4.88 gears.

My project TJ when done will have 5.13 gears and 33's possibly 35's.
