Rear axle bearings

I’m about to replace both my rear axle seals on my Dana 44 but I don’t have a press to put the bearing and retainer back on, will I be able to heat up them enough to slip them on and seat them with a hammer?

Get a bearing and seal driver kit from HF or Northern Tool...about $30. Should make the job easier!

You do not want to heat the retainer it should be pressed on.
