Rear bumper bolt size

I am trying to solve the great mystery of the bolt that goes on the underside of the rear bumper.

I found hitch instructions online that show these 2 sizes.

I purchased both sizes and neither seems to work. Metric is too big.

And standard threads in but wobbles around like it’s too small.

These are the only 2 sizes and can find online but neither seems to work On my Jeep.

Any know know a size that works on 2006?

Yours is the 12mm. Run a tap through to clean up the threads.

Thank you. I was wanting to do that all along but was not positive I had the correct size and did not want to screw up the threads.
