I'm going to be mounting my rockford fosgate ps-8 on the tailgate. anyone know of a good grounding location? I've heard the rear seat belt bolt is a good spot but can't remember.

Any major bolt on the body should be fine. Just clean the bolt and hole up with steel wool to make it shiny for a good connection.
If not, you can drill a hole and add a bolt wherever it is convenient. Make sure if you drill through the floor, you’re aware of where it will come through. You don’t want to drill into the gas tank or a vent line. Use a decent size bolt and nut and crank it very tight. A grade 8 bolt will be able to survive more torque than lower grade bolts.
