Rear spring removal

I don’t mind you treating me as a newb but I was 5 years ago when I redid my suspension with adjustable everything maybe that’s why I have part’s going out already. I’m wondering the easiest way to remove rear springs. Remove lower shock mount remove track bar at axle it’s been a while so I don’t remember everything I did back then I have a spring compressor but do I have to use it? Chris says rears are easy I’ve just been dreading it cause it was such a pita the first time I’ve got a d/c driveshaft and sye coming this week just trying to get the springs out as easy as possible

Springs are always kind of a pain with short arms imo. I just pulled my rears a couple days ago. I don't know if you need to disconnect the track bar or not but with the shocks undone and track bar off I was able to pop the rear coils right out. That is, after I removed the rusted out currie bump stops from inside the top and bottom of the coil. That was a massive pain.

Here's a tip that may be or may seem obvious but isn't necessarily for a lot of people... when removing coils if you choose to use a spring compressor, just jack the axle up and put the compressor on the already compressed coil and let the axle back down. No need to do that sketchy and laborious back and forth tightening down of the screws.
