Rear Track Bar Adjustment

Hi guys, I am tryung to figure out how to adjust the rear track bar, The physical act of actually doing it....not what the bar does....just how to manipulate it.??? Can someone give me some insight on how to do it ? Cuz it looks to me like the thing must be removed to adjust it...

Without seeing it, unless it's a double adjustable track bar, yes you will need to pull one end to adjust it.

As far as I know, all track bars must be removed(one end only) to be adjusted. I don’t know how you’d have an adjustable point in it like a tie-rod due to its shape.

Rough Country makes an adjustable track bar that you can adjust without disconnecting an end. I have one for sale because I purchased a Currie due to the RC not fitting my Currie bracket

Thank yall for the info. My track bar looks good and now I know I will need to unhook one end to adjust it.. Then I guess a small come-a-long or something like that to move the body over a bit and adjust the bar to fit and re install the end. Got it. (I hope...ha ha)

If the wheels are on the ground, just turn the steering wheel. The front axle will shift instead of turning the wheels. If you're really lazy, start the engine and let the power steering do it for you.

Rear axle is pretty easy to shift. Sticking a long cheater bar (like a 2" OD pipe) in the rear hitch receiver will give extra leverage to shift the body on the axle.

I used a ratchet strap to get everything straight then adjusted the track bar on the rear end side. When doing this I took the opportunity to get rid of the torx bolt and replace with a traditional hex head grade 8.
