Rear wheels try to move further apart from each other while driving forward

And is that the price for both the right and the left side? Does it include the bearing as well?

Wait, I went to the site, found the proper axle set for your rig, forwarded to you and instead of reading the information you just asked another question? Bro, you need to read it. Revolution is IMO the best company to deal with for gears and shafts. Not only does the link tell you that it is a pair of axles it also tells you the bearings are pre-installed for you and it comes with wheel studs ready to install!

I looked at it and read it as well… I just thought I might have translated it wrong, because it’s very cheap.

Here, even the cheapest single axle costs €330.

They show the discovery series set available with drum brakes. I would call them or email them and ask about the disk brake set and shipping to you. There are many more suppliers out there. These are chromoly shafts with a great warranty

Thank you very much, I will definitely check it, because it will cost me less money than the aftermarket part sold here.

Hello,
so, some new updates.
After alignment and reassembly, the wheels behave exactly the same when driving forward and backward.
It also happens when the car is in neutral and I push it forward and backward.
Could there be a fault in the differential?

Thank you

I would strongly encourage you to find someone who knows English and translate correctly. If the same behavior of wobbling tires exists, then the original diagnostics were not thorough. Once you notice wobble, the first step is put the rear axle on jackstands and idle in gear to spin the tires. After the wobble is noted, remove both tires and clamp the rotors/drums back in place. If they wobble, remove them and observe the flange on the axle shafts.

I suspect in this case, we jumped ahead without checking the wheels which are the likely culprit. To directly answer the question, there is no condition in the axle housing that can cause the wheels to wobble.

To the OP @Migri
I have an extra $0.02
. I highly recommend you listen to this advisor. He will lead you in the correct direction.
I’m following this thread because i can’t imagine what would cause your problems so I’d like to learn.
What say you get her up on the jack stands and post a video.

The language barrier is kicking our ass. The tires moving in and out is or turned out to be them wobbling. The wobble is due to bad tire squirm in the tread, bent wheels, improperly mounted wheels due to crap on the wheel mounting surface, crap behind the drum/disc on the flange face, or bent axle flanges.

To find it, idle in gear and remove what wobbles. When you get to a place where nothing is wobbling, the last thing you removed is the problem. As in, if you remove the wheels and the captured drum/disc isn't wobbling, it is the wheel. If you remove the wheel and the disc/drum is wobbling, remove it/them and check the axle flange. If the flange isn't wobbling, then it was something to do with the disc/drum.

Axle shafts are bent and they need straightened or replaced.

I’ve just been following to learn and don’t understand how we got from here to the wheels.
Language barrier yes but the video we saw was pretty clear?
I had an XJ years ago that did this and we never solved the problem. I installed new bearings, shafts and brakes. Tried steel wheels and stock cast ones and one day it was rear ended and I was relieved of that problem. 🤷🏼‍♂️

sorry
my translater is AL (chat GPT)

This was still before straightening the axle shaft… now, when the car is lifted, everything runs about 99% straight, until the car is back on its wheels.

Do you think it could be caused by tire squirm?
Even at walking speed?
I was also wondering if it could be caused by old tires.(2021)

I don’t know, maybe the car was parked in one place for a long time and they’ve flattened, but when the car is on the lift, nothing like that shows up.
