Hello everyone, Ben here. Thanks for your time in advance I'm a first-time poster, long-time lurker so bear with me.
I've been preparing for a 6-month overlanding roadtrip in 3 weeks; starting in Indiana, going North thru Michigan/Wisconsin, and darting around everywhere out West for the first time. I will mainly be staying out in the wilderness (National Parks, Nat'l Forests, BLM areas, etc.) I'm still fairly new into wheeling; I got my TJ a little over a year and a half ago (see below) and I live in NE Indiana, so not a ton of opportunities.
I'm wondering what everyone's opinions are for some of the best locations to check out for some moderate off-roading, overlanding home bases, and just the cool little things to check out along the way (small-towns, abandoned areas, honey holes, etc.)? I freakin' love hiking, fishing, kayaking, meeting new people, photography/videography; so if anyone wants to show me around their town, I would love to check it out! Seriously, don't hesitate to get in touch because this will be the longest solo trip I've ever been on being 21 years young. I hope to make traveling around the world a full-time passion, so I really do appreciate the inputs you have Get Jiggy Wit It
