Recommended motor oil for a 2005 Rubicon with 126,000 miles. 5W30 or 10W40

Recommended motor oil for a 2005 Rubicon with 126,000 miles and which of these two as well, 5W30 or 10W40. Also Synthetic or Conventional, just want to get it straight for future oil changes.

Conventional oil is good for these engines. Either weight is fine, I run 5w-30 in the winter and 10w-30 the rest of the year.
 
10w40 high mileage. Conventional is fine. Just maintain regular 3000ish mile changes.
 
I run 10w30. I'm not an oil fanatic, so I use 10w30 and have been using O-Reilly brand synthetic for a few years, only because it cost pretty the same as conventional oil. I have nothing against conventional oil either. I usually use a Wix filter.

I'll never buy Gucci oil like Amsoil, or any of the other over hyped bullshit brands.
 
10w-30 conventional, every 5000 miles when you rotate tires.
