Red electrical connector lock broke (would you replace it or delete it)

Howdy, I broke off the red connector lock tab on the upstream 02 sensor connector. My sense is to not replace it, but am wondering if any of you would replace it. Seems snug enough without the tab but would like to do this once and correctly. Thanks.

I’ve broken a few locking tabs on various plugs over the 23 years I’ve owned my TJ. They have apparently gotten brittle with time.


I’ve never had an issue with any of them coming loose without the lock.
