Nice. Mine are plastic housings. Time to do some more research.
When I got this jeep and started this thread almost 3 years ago, I knew between kids and work, I’d never be on the trail every week, let alone once a month. The overall goal was to build something I could feel safe and comfortable driving the kids in around town, and when I could get to the trail, having the right build.
Gotta say, today was some pretty damm good validation.

Nice winch upgrade! Those 9.5tis are awesome.
I'm not happy that you're happy with the summit lights... I think that's going to be on my list for next year.

thanks!.... @Crystal@Bestop while I've got you though...super frustrating that the Bestop Instatrunk I bought new in May 2023 does not fit with my new Bestop rear seat, and that its not documented on either product page.

Spring updates:
Finally found the rear warn hitch bumper without tire carrier in restorable condition. I opted not to drill the inner cross member hole since they would have been very close to the previous holes from the hitch. I did install the frame tie ins. Should be fine for my bike rack and cargo carrier.
Splurged on the Bestop sale for a tramp stamp free upgrade to Sailcloth
Got my first (and probably only) Savvy part to go with the new recovery points.
And finally addressed some deferred maintenance.
New RMS and Oilpan gasket
Bleed the brakes
New rear trackbar & alignment.
