Some buddies and I spend a long weekend in Redbird. Its an old coal mine that the state has converted into a off-road park. Its just over 1400 acres, with lots of decent trails for all levels. Many, Many steep hill climbs, narrow ridge runs, and quite a bit of off camber that got my butt puckered. They have some nice "challenge areas" too. Old Mining equipment tires, boulders, logs, etc. We had a pretty great time, though as with most Midwest wheeling, its muddy as hell. About a 6 hour drive from home. It was fun, but I think I prefer badlands, at only 4.5 hours away. The fishing was great in the stripper pits, though...10" Bluegills were easy to find
