Removing soft top frame

Hi guys,

Got a new soft top coming and want to clean up the hardware including the frame for it. Problem is that the one torx is spinning but not coming out!? Any ideas?

Slide a putty knife in the opening and it will catch the threads to back it out .

If the threads go all the way through, use a nail to push on the back side.

That end is replaceable also .
