The wiper fluid hose connector on my 03-06 hardtop has snapped off and I was wondering if anyone has found a suitable replacement/repair for this part? Why they designed this thing so terribly weak is beyond me.

It’s a check valve so you don’t lose all the washer fluid in the line. I used this Mazda part number FA54-67-508. It’s not a direct replacement, but it’s functional.

No idea, I'll try to pry it off tomorrow. I hope it comes out easily as I am a little scared of breaking it, but will see what I can do. Might have to remove the whole black piece. Was hoping someone had done this already as this thing is so flimsy that I'm sure it is a common issue.

Thanks for that. Do you remember how easy it was to replace? The whole thing feels so flimsy that I'm scared of trying to pry the black plastic part off. It looks like it just snaps on/off, but wanted to make sure before I started messing around with it (or break it).
