Replacement mirror suggestions?

1997 TJ SE, with original mirrors outside

Aloha all
My OEM mirrors are showing their age, they are scratched (the glass) and corroding. Does anyone have a suggestion for a good replacement? These are OEM in their stock locations. I've read a lot of bad reviews. I was also thinking of taking them apart to see if I can refurbish them.
My right side mirror does not stay in place well, always drifting.

Have you considered just replacing them with another set of OE mirrors?

I have a 98... when I saw the newer (slightly larger) mirrors, I replaced mine. The aluminum arms were beginning to corrode and flake on the old ones.

I have a 01 and my mirrors were getting a little sad also. I replace them with a set from rugged ridge fit perfect look like original and have held up well

My mirrors were faded and the grass a bit scratched so I took them off, sanded them up a bit and sprayed with truck bed liner and they look great now. The glass is still a bit scratched of course but it doesn’t look bad enough to warrant buying a new set.

I’m looking at OEM. So far about $113 each, I saw a set on eBay for $150 but I’m not sure they are the right ones.
Most aftermarket mirrors have reviews that they don’t stay in position which is a problem I have now.

I am not saying to buy from Morris, but they have a great selection to give you ideas, prices are like $30 and up to $250, depending on brand and style.

I put mirrors from Bestop on my ‘99. They are the ‘03-‘06 style. Work great.
