Hello fellow Wrangler people. I'm hoping to replace my front sway bars soon. Do I need to put the jeep on jack stands to do this or can I just chuck the wheels and replace them while the jeep is on the ground?

Thank you!

The sway bar is only under load when the axle is not parallel to the frame.

Replace with jeep on ground is fine.

Are you replacing the links or the entire sway bar?

Iirc will need a jack but you can do it in the driveway

I just did my entire new lift suspension, dampers, and bushings, and seay bar links in my driveway this summer

Thanks guys - and sorry - Sway bar LINKS.

Ok those are easy. No need to do anything but remove and replace. You may consider doing the bushings at the frame while you are there. Let us know if you need any help

Not necessary, but easier if you remove the tires.
Having 2 jackstands will keep the axle level.
