Has anyone have experience installing this kit?

Reads like a DIY kit if you know your way around your Jeep.

Description - Super 35 Rear Axle Kit with ARB Air Locker for Dana 35 are Made in the USA! This kit features Upgraded 30 Spline Axles shafts and a ARB Air Locker to make your Dana 35 a Super 35.

All Revolution, rear axle kits come with the bearings seals and retainers 100% pressed together and ready to install and are backed by a comprehensive lifetime warranty that covers all failures including bent shafts.

This is the best price I have found –1,078.00

I know the sound bites - “why polish the turd, save for a 44…” But my application is more “not get stuck and have to use my winch” rather than “I need the strongest Axel out there”

That's a very good kit, it doesn't get any better than Revolution Gear & Axle.... it's definitely worthy of 35" tires.

So far as the ring & pinion gears go, the only thing that has to be done is to set the backlash which is not difficult, at least not nearly as difficult as setting the R&P gears up from scratch. Setting the backlash only involves shimming the ARB carrier left or right until the right amount of backlash between the ring & pinion gears is achieved. Enough preload also has to be included to make the ARB tight enough to require a couple blows from a mallet to seat it into the housing.

However, there's a lot more to getting the rest of an ARB air locker installed properly than just getting the backlash set. That is why ARB strongly urges it be installed by someone who is experienced at installing ARB air lockers. Not just lockers, specifically the ARB Air Locker which isn't an easy install. For that reason, I wouldn't consider this kit really installable by Joe-average shadetree mechanic even if setting the backlash would be an easy job for him.

X2 to what Jerry said.

I own Revolution gears and axles in my TJ Rubicon and they truly are amazing. Best gears and axles you can get for the money.

I would talk to @AOR or @Garza as they both sell these parts and I'm willing to bet they can give you a good deal on them when the time comes that you want to buy them.

I installed a ARB air locker in my Dana 35 , and the Tech's at ARB recommended an axle truss for the Dana 35.
So I went with a TnT axle truss .

If you know of anyone else looking for a truss for a 35 or 44 rear, I still have a few of these.

I build tons of m35's with 456/488's zip/grizzly and yukon 30 spline shafts. It lands in the 1500 range with a grizzly locker. parts and labor. Its tuff to find a stock tj44 around here under 1200, then it needs all the same parts in it as the 35 does on top of the price of the core.

For the daily driver that gets alot of trail usage with tires under 35" its very dependable. If you can bust the 30 spline m35 shafts, a 30 spline Dana 44 isn't an upgrade without 33 or 35 splines stuffed in it.

I would love to have access to revolution but my only source for it is at retail online. That just doesn't make sense for me as a small shop owner when i cant really compete as it is with anything but reputation.

I'm still trying to figure out who you know over at the Nitro place. That batch of trusses was built here in SoCal, Superior moved them to Vegas and when they walked away from the building, the folks at Nitro bought them at the auction. I'm guessing you buy from them?

Who have you talked to over there to get set up to buy from them?
