Good to know. I’m going to look around at a couple other places this weekend and coming week. Northern tool has trailers the same size as harbor freight for the same price I’ll just have to call them and verify that they will sell to WV residents as they are in Virginia lol Tractor supply has them too but it’s about $150 more for the same trailer. I’ll have to look into the Home Depot option though if all else fails. Thanks for the info
The reason that they did not want to sell to you could be that the Harbor freight lacks a MSO Manufacture Statement of Origin that the W VA DMV requiring for new vehicle registration.
I would contact the W VA and find out what they need for new vehicle title to be issued before you spend any money on a trailer.

What is this country coming to? Can’t sell someone a trailer in another state? But you can buy one on Amazon and have it shipped to any state.

Without an MSO the DMV will put up red flags.
If the trailer has no MSO the manufacturer has not built a highway legal trailer.
Amazon will sell it to you but try and get title without an MSO.

I know right. Half the ones I see on marketplace say in the add, “ pulls great down the highway, no title but could easily obtain one” I’m like do people just not license these things and hope for the best or what lol
Yea it’s strange that I could build one from a pile of scrap metal and take a few pictures along the way and be ok to be titled, but buy one from a box store like Hobo Freight and not have a slip of paper for my state and it’s a no go. It’s West Virginia FFS lol I’ve seen some pretty redneck shit around here pass for a trailer
I checked into these in my area and about the 5 closest Home Depot’s only had one size which wasn’t this small trailer for rent. It was an 8’ enclosed sides trailer for twice as much as this little trailer was advertised for. The one in the picture was $120 a week but available literally nowhere within a 2 hour drive from me and the one they actually have to rent out is just too big for my little 2.5L
I put on the Smitty Built roof rack but I came off a year later. It was to heavy and to loud.
It's one of the common smittybilt/barricade etc style ones. The bars were in the TJ when I bought it and I just picked up quality hardware and put it on. The tent comes with what you need to attach it to the roof rack. Mine is a 23zero walkabout 62.
