01 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 I6, standard transmission
Issue started 3 weeks ago, stopped and now is increasing in frequency. Seems like engine is warmed up when I sporadically have some rough idling in neutral when stopped.
If I give it a little gas, it stops but will start when I let it idle again. I changed the spark plugs and it still occurs. Thinking about trying a fuel cleaner and replacing O2 sensor.
One issue I’m worried about is since I’ve owner the Jeep (about 2 years), I’ve had a bad catalytic converter with the check engine light o . It’s never made it ride rough before and gas mileage is the typical Jeep mpg. Had a computer and no new codes being thrown (so I do not know if the O2 sensor is actually bad).
I do not want to spend the money on a catalytic converter since it’s 1k.
Any thoughts would be great!!!
