Good morning, looking for some ideas on where to start troubleshooting this issue.
Over the past 48 hours my 97 4.0 has developed an idling issue when in park and when stopped at red lights etc.
The idle will hold strong at 1000 RPM when turning over for a few seconds but then begins to bounce between 700 to 1000 and sounds like a drum roll or small bursts. I was going to through in some fuel injector cleaner this weekend. Does anyone have a go to place to check or clean for these issues?
