RubiBlack is the name my daughter gave my 2005 black Rubicon LJ. I got her in 2014, hard top, 6 speed and only 93000 on the odometer. 2 years ago I came up with the idea that it would be cool to take my Rubicon and drive the Rubicon trail. After watching some YouTube videos of the Rubicon I knew some upgrade were needed and so the story begins. Not realizing how fast the jamboree filled up and how much it cost to run one, those things are put on hold till I can get a new Super Duty. Can't do that till I pay off My daughter 2020 Jeep 2 door JL and the wife's 2019 4 door JL. Yea I got a bunch of Jeeps and I also got my father-law CJ 7 after he pass away. I'm still finishing Rubi almost there, 3 1/2 inch MetalCloak short arm lift, 1.25 inch body lift, 1 inch motor lift, Savvy tummy tuck, Novak transfer shifter kit, 35-12.50-15 on 8 inch aluminum wheels and 4.88 gears. I done all the work except installing the gears. Be a long time reader and finally decided to join.
