RuffStuff Rear Bumper

I finally got my RuffStuff rear bumper installed on my LJ and wanted to share with the forum since there aren't a ton of photos out there of their products.
I tried to install it myself but the bumper was hitting the pinchweld on the passenger side under the tub. I finally got it "on" and wasn't happy with the alignment so i took it to my local off road shop and they got it put on for me.

Here's a photo of it. Now to choose the front. I'm thinking the Motobuilt mid width with some KC Daylighters or similar round 6" light on the ends of the bumper to fill in the gap between the top of the bumper and the bottom of the fender.

Looks good! I was really close to getting that bumper, but then just decided against a hitch and went a different direction.

I got the same bumper for my 05 LJR a couple months back. I am fortunate to have them 1 town over so I was able to drive to their shop and have them assist with the final install when I had an issue. Nice folks there and very helpful. We shall see how it holds up to the Rubicon Trail. The corners are open so I suspect they will get bent in. I liked this bumper more than any of the others out there and it looks solid. Good fit. Receiver hitch is nice. Peter

Yessir I liked how wide the bumper covered while still being low profile. Like Pseck mentioned, the corners are not boxed, so they might get bent in on a really rough drop, but for most things I will use it for it'll be fine.

Man that's awesome you're so close! Please let me know how it does and best of luck to you on the Rubicon. That is on my bucket list of trails to do. Maybe not in this jeep(06 LJ on 33s), but definitely in my dads built LJ on 37s.

Ran Slick Rock trail last week. So far so good. Rubicon next month. MY LJR is on 33” tires. this will be my 3rd time on that trail with this LJ. Still using my cj5 also on 33”. I know I on the smaller tire side out there but have not wanted to lose the good road manners as well… It can be done ……..

That is super impressive! Please drop a pic of your LJR in the thread, would love to see it. What sort of supporting mods and/or suspension stuff have you done?
