Jeep is running rough. I changed the spark plugs which helped a little. Thinking I should replace the fuel filter. How do you do that on a Jeep? On my truck it was very easy. Also, I'm not sure about the previous owner's history of maintenance with this Jeep.

Thanks for any help.

Our wranglers have what is considered a lifetime filter located in the fuel tank at the pump assembly, so it's not considered a serviceable item. That does not take into consideration someone leaving fuel in the tank for a very long time and gumming up the system. I would suggest for starters that you thoroughly clean your throttle body especially the idle air control.

Has it thrown a check engine light yet? If it's running rough it should throw one soon (if it hasn't already).

No light yet. I'll try cleaning the throttle body and idle air control. Thanks guys.
