While driving on the freeway today, I put on my right turn signal and saw my fog light indicator go ape shit (I was driving with my Vision-X halos on as daytime running lights FWIW).
I stopped at a gas station to pull codes. When I started it back up, there where 5 ECU type chimes (not the same chimes as the e-brake). Does anyone know off hand what the 5 chimes indicate? (I can almost swear this happened to me once before),
Now, I can reproduce an issue where my lights are off, then turn them up a notch to the daytime running lights setting - my fog lights get activated (briefly). If I push in on the knob as I turn the daytime lights on, the fog lights do not come on.
Wondering if these could be related somehow (the lights and the O2 sensor codes). In terms of change to the vehicle prior - I just (once again) redid all of my diff / t-case / transmission breather tubing, and may have jarred some of the wiring bundles in the process. I will have to look and see if the wire bundles in the area where I was working contain the O2 and light wires, but that's a long shot I suppose.
As far as the issue with the lights - and not that I'm optimistic that this will fix the issue, but I'm going to take it apart and clean the inside of the column. There's a ton of dust in there still from the previous owner's escapades driving in clay mud - it's a plague that doesn't go away, I clean it and it reappears from somewhere deep in the bowels of the vehicle.
