S133 splice location

Hi all,
i'm pretty sure to have some problem on splice for K4 from connector C1 (ground used by CKS,CMS,TPS,etcetcetc). My TJ is a '03 but splice S121 is located over the engine head like in '04 manual.
I'm trying to locate splice S133, in the manual is located in two different place, both of them very HARD to reach.

Has anyone rewired this and can send me a photo of where it's really located? thanks in advance!

Idk what you’ve done to isolate this, but before you pull the tranny to access this splice, maybe backprobe each offending sensor grounds at the connector, and give them a good ground at the battery to make sure the problem fixes itself before diving into a bitch of a project. If the splice truly is the problem, I’d just cut each ground at the sensor and splice in a new ground for each.

With all the wiring issues these pigs have, I can honestly say I’ve never seen a splice be the culprit.

Hi and thanks for replying. yes pretty sure about the issue. moving the harness i was able to reproduce it and the engine turned off.
P0320 and P0340
after moving cable, trying to find where it is, etc now seems stable. i've now
P0463
and fuel level goes to 0.
also fuel sensor take ground from S133. It's not a GND from battery but from K4 on C1 of the PCM.
Agree with your idea, i've already prepared a new cable from K4 to CKS and CMS sensor to avod it, but now this new one (fuel sensor, is on the back of the car).....

so you think that to access this splice I've to completely remove the transmission?

The fuel pump & sensor are in that same bundle that goes over the transmission, iirc. On my 97 I've had to pull that entire harness up into the engine bay to do major surgery, and part of that included disconnecting at the back corner. Now that said, on my buddy's 02 (or was it is 00?) I didn't have to disconnect back there to pull the harness up.

I remember mine specifically because it wouldn't start after I did my work, and I realized I hadn't reconnected that back section so I had no fuel delivery.

well, I took the section of harness that goes to the transmission & beyond and pulled it all up into the engine bay. I didn't completely disconnect it. For my purposes that was all I needed to do. I would do that a million times over dropping the trans to work on electrical. And I like working on transmissions more than anyone on this forum.
