There might be a forum out there already about this. But I could not find one.

Like a lot of jeep owners I have lifted my jeep. Which means I slide out of the drivers seat to get out. This is slowly causing the edge of the seat to break down. Does anybody have any suggestions to extend the life of these TJ seats?

seat covers can help. Otherwise, lift yourself before getting in or out of the vehicle. Use the roll bar or add a grab handle. I've installed an aftermarket sport cage which puts a steel handle just at the junction of the A pillar and the roofline. That seems well positioned for aid in entry and exit.
