That part # is for the bank 2 upstream oxygen sensor (cylinders 4 through 6).
FWIW, it makes more sense (to my little brain) that it was an upstream 02 that fixed your issue. I imagine that the properly working B2S1 allowed your computer to achieve more desirable & consistent fuel trims.
