First I have read a lot on here about the pre Cats and other issues. Anyway I have the pre cats and down pipe out and yes 1 has failed , I have a walker brand on the way , but read that while it's out too go ahead and put rear seal in , & yes it's leaking ,133k miles to date , my next question is while the pans out do I go ahead and put the new oil pump in from below & how hard. Is it ,? Plug and play? Let me know your thoughts and any tips of dos and donts

I would replace the oil pump, yes. If you're already going to be down in that area with things torn apart, it makes perfect sense to do it!

Are you referring to replacing the oil pump itself, or the oil pump drive assembly (OPDA)? If you're talking about the OPDA, there's a thread on how to replace it here: How to change your OPDA

If you're talking about the oil pump, according to the FSM:

Remove exhaust headers
Remove oil pan
Remove pump

I'd encourage you to download a free FSM here so that you can do the job correctly. It details all the steps, torque specs, etc.

Sorry for any confusion,, I have the mini cats and down pipe removed and while it's down and out the way I was going too replace the rear main seal.. while that is happening and the oil pan is removed my question is a) would an oil pump replacement be advised on 133k daily 4.oL rubi . . b) is it a simple unbolt the old and install the new1.. i have not saw any1 post a video of this from the oil pan side

C) .. or is it replace the oil pump from underneath then replace the opda from the top with a "crown" unit

Yes, with the oil pan off, it’s easy to replace the oil pump. You should do it while you are in there.

That is correct.
