Should rear hub have this much movement?

Should rear hub have this much movement. If not, what am I replacing next?

Yes, in-out movement like that is 100% normal for a Dana 35 rear axle. Its c-clip design means the axle shaft must be able to be pushed in far enough to release the c-clip when doing maintenance that requires removing the axle shaft.

That would not be normal for a non-c-clip design axle like a Dana 30 or Dana 44.

Ok, now on the the rear shocks!! AND. FOund that annoying popping sound I think. Rear drop link was loose.

So, impact wrench to remove rear shocks?
