Should this even be a problem?

So I have a leak around where transmission and motor connect, seems to be some where the seal is, but also along the sides like it's coming from the valve cover on top of the motor. Conventional Oil changes every 3k, and I check my oil every so after and it's been fine, just worried.

Both very common on the 4.0....I would do the valve cover gasket first and see if that stops it all, sometimes the valve cover gasket leaks looks like a rear main seal leak. There are write ups on both here in the forum how to section.

It's the 2.5L, I'd imagine the 4 and 6cyl's are both straight forward and the same, but I'll keep that in mind and I'll look out thanks man
