Side Mirror Question

Hi all,

I have a side mirror issue. My driver's side mirror will not stay in place. A few bumps on the road and it hangs to the side. Can these be fixed? Or are replacements available? I have looked on eBay, Amazon and all the well known Jeep websites but cannot find this specific replacement for my '98.

It looks like that is an aftermarket mirror relocation mount. (guessing this RR one) are you sure you don't need a new mount rather than new mirror?

Apologies - I sent the wrong link before and deleted. Looks like Extreme Terrain has the older versions that you are looking for. I think they just tend to get a bit loose over time where the mirror mounts to the arm. But I agree - I like them better than the revised version my 2005 has. I've considered changing mine over.

Hi,

The mounts are ok, it is just the driver's mirror that hangs to the side. The mirrors themselve can be taken off of the mounts. The link you sent is to the mounts I have, but I am looking for the mirror. Any idea where I can find that?

Is the mirror just the stock mirror on the new mount? If so they're available by just scrolling down after clicking that link.

I'm not sure how the mirror connects to either mount so maybe I'm not actually helping here.

No I think you may be right. I will purchase one and see if it is what I need. Thanks so much for the info!
