In short, the picture may depict a finished build, however I thought I'd share the story of my 05 Rubicon and my future intentions.

Purchased in late 2016, the previous owner was not mechanically inclined. Being from the Northeast (and a state that uses a $hit-ton of salt on roads), finiding a rust or rot-free TJ is not an easy task. This one came up on CL without pictures and was advertised as "needed work", "transmission sluggish", "will not start". A long story short, after jumping the vehicle, the "will not start" ended up being a dead battery; It was originally a Florida Jeep that was mostly flat towed by an older couple so it had very minor surface rust on the frame and "The Transmission was sluggish", I could immediately tell was clogged cats.

About 2.5 years later, $$$$, and time, I have built a fun toy. A few items added:

Metalcloak 4.5" coils & rocksport shocks
Core4x4 tier 4 control arms and track bars
Currie Currectlync
Revolution 4.88 gears
Revolution chromoly front axle shafts
G2 chromoly rear axle shafts
UCF tummy tuck / engine skid
Metalcloak gas tank skid
Metacloak front & rear bumpers
Metacloak 6" fender system
Warn M8000
Banks muffler
Magnaflow converter system
MB11 17"x9" wheels with 35x12.5x17 BFG KM2's

On the shelf:
Magnum power Supercharger

Future:
Atlas 2 speed 5:1
rebuilt NSG370
forged (maybe stroked) 4.0L
