So, this Superbloom thing is really happening...

Took the Jeep out to the Anza Borrego Desert yesterday for a shakedown drive, and to see if the "Superbloom" was really happening.
Well, it is! I've *never* seen that part of the desert so green and blooming with so many flowers! It was really different, and cool.

This pic was taken at "Indian Gorge", pretty much at the head of the gorge. It will also be my next camping spot - probably this week!

Yep. It's been a very wet year for out there. It's pretty neat to see - I had never seen the ocotillos bloom!

Come up to the PNW for a year and then tell me how annoying you find the rain... Haha. It never friggin' ends here! This year has been worse than ever, but you guys are getting that too.
